Green Fuel Nordic takes part in the preparation of Finland’s Bio-Economy Strategy

The goal of Finland’s Bio-Economy Strategy that is now under preparation is to create a new globalizing economy where natural resources are exploited in a sustainable matter. Green Fuel Nordic Oy is actively involved in the preparation of the strategy.

Bio-Economy is a significant oppoturnity for Finland to archieve a sustaibable competitive advantage, create prosperity, innovation and ecosystem services-based business and jobs, as well as to attract foreign investments in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.

Finland’s bio-economy strategy is being prepared in cooperation of three parties; Ministry of Employment and the Economy, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the the Ministry of the Environment. A working group responsible of the preparation organized the first session in a series of so-called Bio-Economy dates in the end of November. In the session different actors and stakeholder’s views were presented on how the bio-economy in Finland should be promoted. Green Fuel Nordic Oy was the only representative of the industry in the event among keynote speakers.
