Project suppliers for Green Fuel Nordic Oy’s Iisalmi biorefinery to convene

Green Fuel Nordic Oy will hold a project meeting for international project suppliers during week 12 in Soinlahti, Iisalmi, in Finland. The purpose of the meeting is to create a standard supply model for Green Fuel Nordic’s biorefinery. All of the company’s future biorefineries will be supplied using the same supply model.

Project supplier representatives from Finland, Canada, the USA, Sweden and Russia will participate in the project meeting to be held in Soinlahti, Iisalmi, where the planned biorefinery will be located.

The project suppliers have been involved in detailed planning for the biorefinery since last summer. One of the goals for this week’s meeting is to ensure the compatibility of the plant’s different sub-areas.

”As the week proceeds, the plant’s process plan will be finalized and the finishing touches will be put on the standard supply model for Green Fuel Nordic’s biorefineries,” says Timo Saarelainen, CEO, Green Fuel Nordic Oy.

The refinery project is progressing as planned also in other areas. On Tuesday, March 19, 2013, the on-site preparatory work preceding the construction of the biorefinery will begin. The first job is to clear trees from the lot.
